Senet, an ancient, predynastic Egyptian boardgame. It is one of the oldest known boardgames. This one was found in Toetanchamon’s tomb. Toetanchamon often played it with his wife. The game was played as a sort of preparation for the Afterlife. According to Wikipedia the full name of the game in Egyptian was zn.t n.t ḥˁb meaning the “game of passing”. The board has 3 rows with 10 squares each. The rules of the game are the subject of debate.
